Hidden in Labin Court I got there just when it opened and the staff were really friendly told me sit where I want.... The decor is pretty nice and chill...makes the place feel welcoming.... I was meeting a friend for lunch there so I went much earlier to do some work and finish some things up beforehand.... I asked the gal working what was a good coffee drink to get and she suggested the Tiramisu Latte which I went with (Soy Milk) and it was good I don't generally get flavored lattes but I went with the flow.... The latte was good....to see the menu for food and more scan the QR Code and you'll see it... They didn't have a lot of options for me since I'm picky but I got Organic House Salad and a side of Onion Rings....LOL I know what kinda combo is that!?!??!?! I love Onion Rings I couldn't help it.... My friend got the BBQ Pork Belly w/Rice & Salad... Everything was good...and I'll be coming back....
I've been getting takeout from here a lot because of work and it's not bad! So far I've tried the three little pigs and the basil chicken rice. The three little pigs flavor wise is pretty good, although it can get a little salty for me but the rice helps so much with that. The basil chicken flavor is pretty solid, a tiny kick of spice in the flavor but also paired pretty well with rice. I really like the salad mix that comes with the meal, it really cuts down on the saltiness and is overall really refreshing. For drinks I've tried their lattes, the lychee mojito fizzy, and their roasted tie guan yin tea. The lattes are solid, although I would get 50% sugar on them, I've tried majority of the flavors at their new location in city of industry and would say they're pretty consistent across both spots. I recommend the tiramisu latte with 50% sugar! The lychee mojito hit, but was really sweet even though I got 50% sugar (I couldn't drink more than half and had to dilute with water). The tea was solid, I got no sugar and it was refreshing.
Omg the Hide Out Cafe is AMAZING! We had such a great experience here! We came on a Monday at noon and it was a little busy but we got seated right away. We got the bear tea set, which was sooooo cute and super yummy. The boba was good, the tea was sweet, and the homemade cookies were sooooo good! Boba bear tea 10/10 We also ordered the dry noodles and waffle witch. Both were soooo tasty! And a good amount of food. I would say the food is 10/10. Last but not least, everyone was sooooo nice, welcoming, and caring. They checked in on us multiple times and helped us out with anything we needed. 10/10 Seriously, love this place and we'll forsure be back!
Came here three weeks ago. Remember to enter the waitlist at the front when you get there! Went at noon on a Saturday and had to wait a bit for a seat. Took them a few minutes to serve the food since it was quite a busy time. Got the boba bear which was super cute, but the boba itself was a bit hard. The milk tea wasn't too sweet which is good. The cookies that came with it was good! I also tried their fresh avocado toast that came with a side salad. Would recommend!
Hideout is always my top recommendation when someone asks for a cafe suggestion. They've got the cutest drinks, food, and desserts on the menu. While the menu items are adorable, I have to admit the food and drinks are pretty average. Last time, I had their cafe au lait and it was awful - I swear the milk was expired. Before Covid, I was obsessed with their tiramisu milk tea. It was incredibly good; I used to come by a couple of times a week just for it. Unfortunately, they changed the recipe, and the new version just doesn't compare. It's okay, but it's just not the same:( I've also given their other milk teas a try, like the seaweed latte and Hideout milk tea. They're decent, I'd rate them a solid 3.5 out of 5. I always order their hashtag waffle fries to share every time I visit. Despite missing my favorite drink and finding the food average, I still give Hideout 4 stars. The vibe there is great, and the service is consistently good.
Overall a small place with seating inside and out. They're not opened late. Not an extensive menu of drinks, mostly stuff you'll see at a lot of cafes. They do make a pretty strong black ice coffee. When I told them I don't drink black and would like some oatmilk, they said I have to pay $1 extra after all the tendering is done. I think this turned me off for wanting to come back as you're being stingy with someone's order when it wasn't what they wanted. They could've understood the miscommunication and waved the $1 I will say I do need to come back for the featured bear drinks. Maybe service will be better next time.
Me and my family came here for cute cafe vibes and this fit it perfectly. The service was amazing they kept checking in with us to make sure everything was good and it was perfect. The food was AMAZING and DELICIOUS and the serving sizes were good if you are hungry but not starving. The only thing is that I wish the boba bear drink serving was a little bigger because it was gone super quick, but other than that THIS IS AN AMAZING CAFE!!
This is a cute little cafe in the middle of an Asian food plaza. Service and food were good. * Boba Bear Set 5/5 - This came with a yummy cup of milk tea and chewy boba. On the side, there was cute milk tea bear-shaped ice. The cookies were tasty with a light coconut flavor mixed with nuts. * Gummy Bear Drink 4/5 - It's refreshing and citrusy. Slightly bitter from the citrus fruits. * #Hash-tag Fries 4/5 - This was pretty good. The fries were crispy. The egg was good. The cheese sauce and ground meat were a delicious addition. It did feel a bit greasy after a while, but great for sharing. * Berry Party 3.5/5 - The waffle was a bit dry. The egg pudding and vanilla ice cream cups were pretty good. They did give a generous amount of berries. * Matcha Green Tea Waffle 3.5/5 - The waffles were okay. I made them better by putting the whipped cream, strawberry, and matcha ice cream on top. The matcha ice cream was very good.
Located inside Pearl Plaza, there's plenty of parking. We got here around 12pm on a Monday and it was not busy. There's plenty of tables (indoor and outdoor) to sit at. Can study here as there's wifi and outlets but definitely not the best place for studying. Seats are uncomfortable for long duration and noise level can get loud. However, the food, drinks, and service were good. Can order for dine-in or takeout. Order: - $14.50 #Hash-Tag Fries (8/10): waffle cut fries with house cheddar cheese, minced pork, and sunny side-up egg - $14.50 BBQ Rice Burger (6/10): BBQ sauce, rice bun, lettuce, tomato, and pork belly slices. Didn't really taste the sweet and savory BBQ sauce. The pork belly was good. Rice bun was alright. - $16 Fresh Avocado Toast (9/10): Toast made with Utane dough topped with fresh avocado, tomato, crumbling cotija cheese, and a sunny side up egg. Idk what utane dough is but the toast was good! Really soft and fluffy. - $18 BBQ Pork Belly with Rice and Salad (8/10): pork brlly eith house made BBQ sauce, served with onion and sunny side up egg. Simple dish but the pork belly was great! My friend usually don't like pork belly but she enjoyed this. - $6.50 Matcha Latte (hot or iced): Definitely will like this if you enjoy matcha. It has a strong matcha flavor. There's milk substitute for a dollar extra. - $8 Boba Bear Set: frozen milk tea bear, cream top, boba, brown sugar milk tea, housemade cookies. This is super cute and definitely worth getting for a photo. The whole set comes on a bear shaped plate. As for the drink itself, it not bad as it taste like any other brown sugar milk tea. However the boba is a little hard. - $6.50 Gummy Bear (9/10): Lychee, Lemon, Pomegranate, Green Tea. I think all the flavors really worked well together, it wasn't too sweet and super refreshing. Overall, this is a nice place to come get food and drinks. The interior uses warm lighting and the service is really the best! I wasn't able to get the worker name but he was amazing. He was the only one working front of the house but was always attentive. Would come if we had any concerns, wiped the table for us when we were done eating so we could study, and helped us swap the chairs for a more comfortable one! Very respectful and friendly as well.
